A stuck order is rare, it's not your fault, and it's not ours either. But it does happen, and here's exactly how we handle it when it does.
Of all the situations that can arise with an order, a stuck order is probably the most disorienting, because on the surface, nothing appears to be happening. Your order is active, time is passing, and the count isn't moving. It's natural to wonder if something has gone wrong.
Here's the honest answer: sometimes, it has. Not on our end, and not because of anything you did, but somewhere in the chain between our system and the service provider. Let's break down what that actually means.
How rare is this, really?
Rare enough that it shouldn't be a regular concern, but common enough that every customer should know about it. Based on our order history:
Less than 10%. Out of every 1,000 orders placed on TheKclaut, fewer than 100 are likely to get stuck at any point. The overwhelming majority of orders process and complete without any issues whatsoever.
That said, if you happen to be in that minority, the percentage doesn't make it feel any less frustrating, and we get that. So here's what you should know.
Why do orders get stuck?
We'll be straight with you: there isn't always a single clear-cut reason. What we do know is that it typically comes down to one of two things: a hiccup within our processing system, or a delay on the provider's side that causes the order to stall mid-delivery. Platform updates, capacity issues, and technical interruptions at the provider level can all contribute.
It is not caused by anything you did when placing the order. It is not a sign that your order has been lost or ignored. It simply means the order is sitting in a state it shouldn't be in, and it needs to be nudged forward.
How to tell if your order is stuck
The clearest signal is time. Here's a general guide based on order type:
| Time active | Status |
|---|---|
| 0 – 12 hrs | Normal, in progress |
| 12 – 24 hrs | Worth monitoring |
| 24 hrs+ | Likely stuck, contact us |
For No Refill services specifically, if your order has been active for more than 12–24 hours with little to no progress, that's a reasonable point to flag it with us. For Non-Drop and Refill services, refer to the delivery window stated on the service. Those naturally take longer and require more patience before raising a concern.
What happens when we resolve a stuck order
Once we identify that an order is stuck, we get on it. The outcome typically falls into one of two scenarios depending on how long the order has been held up:
Best case: full completion. The order is restarted or pushed through and delivers in full. This is the most common outcome when the issue is caught early.
Where applicable: partial delivery. If the order has been stuck for an extended period, we may close it out at whatever point it reached. A partial result is better than an indefinitely stalled one.
Our commitment: we are always monitoring for stuck orders and act on them as soon as they are identified. You don't need to be the one to catch it, but if you do notice it first, reaching out to us with your order ID means we can prioritise it immediately.
One thing to keep in mind
A stuck order is a system-level issue. It is not a reflection of the quality of our service or a sign that you've been overlooked. TheKclaut works with multiple providers across various platforms, and in any complex chain like that, the occasional snag is an operational reality.
What matters is how it's handled, and our position is simple: we stay on top of it, we resolve it as quickly as possible, and we keep you informed.
If your order has been active for more than 24 hours with no visible progress, don't hesitate to reach out to TheKclaut support with your order ID. We'll look into it right away and give you a clear update on where things stand.
